Breastfeeding Center for Greater Washington

As a leader in lactation education and promotion, our mission is to advance breastfeeding and successful parenting throughout the DC metro area by providing free and low cost professional instruction to families in a supportive community space. We strive to fulfill our mission by providing expert-led free and low-cost classes and private consultations with Board Certified Lactation Consultants. We also offer a variety of other services including a breastfeeding boutique, off-site classes, a nursing lounge and a milk depot.

DC Doulas for Choice

The DC Doulas for Choice Collective is a DC-based, volunteer-led-and-run, pro-choice organization
committed to providing support to people across the full spectrum of reproductive health and choice.

The Nurture nook

The Nurture Nook is a community space for parents in the DC area. We are focused on improving the prenatal, birth, and postpartum experience by offering a variety of services, education, and community events in our physical space in Fairfax, VA. It is our foundational belief that everyone deserves a positive and supported transition into parenthood. All of our educational workshops and classes are taught by providers we trust. These classes and services are inclusive, safe spaces to learn, ask questions, prepare for becoming a parent, and heal.
